If you get the chance to visit me in Old Towne Orange, you’ll need to check out the local favorite Cuban restaurant, Felix, just two blocks from my apartment. Otherwise we can eat at the historic PJ’s Abbey, which actually was a church at one point, or at the Filling Station, my current favorite.
Ouch! GasPriceWatch.com lists gas prices around the country. Looks like Walnut Creek Gas Prices are painfully high–$2.13-$2.25/gallon for Plus. On Cape Cod we are about $1.69-$1.73, and we were complaining. Highest in the country: Novato at $2.45!
We’re back! I will have photos soon. It was neat to see the islands. The cruise got progressively better as the week went by–the islands improved and we got the hang of it. The whole time, the ship was great. Now I’m adjusting back to the cold. It’s freezing!
