Mail Theft

So I got this weird piece of mail the other day that notified me I was a ‘victim’ of a crime. Turns out they caught some guy in Dec 2001 that had a ton of mail in his car. He had been counterfeiting keys for mailboxes in SF, including ones in secured lobbies like mine. Guess one of those pieces they caught him with was mine. I’m trying to get the postmaster to tell me if it was SPAM mail or if it was a bill that I should be concerned with, but he told me I had to call back in a couple days and he might be able to look for it.. Hard to believe that it took them almost 2 years to notify me… not sure if I should think the Department of Justice is unbelievably slow or the US Post Office …
