I’ve upgraded the site and switched to this new theme…

Also, there’s a better Flickr photos plug-in in the sidebar. Plus you can see more photos on a photo page right on this site: http://www.prickitt.com/photos/

I added a new feature. It’s a “status” section in the sidebar, for a quick snapshot of what is going on with us. Check it often!

I was getting very annoyed at the spam comments that have been posted to the various blog entries. I was deleting them one by one but realized there were a ton. Thankfully, someone wrote a plug-in to the software that powers this blog to take care of this. I installed it this morning, and it even scanned all the old comments and found bad ones, and removed them. There were HUNDREDS! What a relief they are gone now. So now I can leave the comments open to anyone to post a comment.

I changed the name of the blog after I received some negative feedback about the previous name. So now the concept is of course that we have people on both the East Coast and the Left Coast, but also that the content has a wide scope, and has a broadcast or communication quality to it. I plan to be updating the typeface and logo, but this is the direction I’m thinking. Anyone have a contribution about the name or style? Add a comment after clicking “Comments” below!

I’ve switched web servers and had to leave the old entries behind. It would be nice to bring some back, and they’ll have to be done one by one. Enjoy the new blog!
